Abstract

Kelurahan is the division of administrative areas under the Subdistrict in the context of Regional Autonomy, the Kelurahan is the work of the Lurah as a District or City Equipment which has the status of a Civil Servant, the kelurahan is the smallest unit of the village level. In contrast to the Village Village having the right to regulate its territory more limited in its development a village can be changed to a village. The purpose of this study is to find out (i) what factors influence the implementation of the lurah's duties in maintaining public service facilities and infrastructure in Maharatu sub-district Marpoyan Damai, Pekanbaru. (ii) How to overcome the problem of existing facilities and infrastructure in Maharatu sub-district, Marpoyan Damai, Pekanbaru. The research method used is the type of descriptive survey, and the sampling technique is by random sampling. Techniques for collecting data through observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed by descriptive survey method. The results showed that routine maintenance was found to reach a fairly successful category obtained from the results of the questionnaire while periodic maintenance only reached a less successful category from the results of the questionnaire. Pekanbaru City obtained results in a less successful category because it can be seen from every implementer of indicators regarding maintenance in the area of the Maharatu Urban Village that did not work well, but there also succeeded with a maximum such service that was quite satisfactory.
