Abstract
This study aims to see how the influence of the palm oil industry in the employment of Pelalawan Regency. The data used in this research is secondary data. Data analysis method in managing this research is multiple linear regression analysis method where the method is used to measure the effect of the dependent variable on the independent variable. The results showed that the R2 value was 0.96653. This shows that 96% of the independent variables (the number of industries, the amount of production, and the area of land) already represent to explain the non-free variables (employment). While the remaining 4% is explained by other variables outside the model. Furthermore, seen from the coefficient of the independent variables and the T test (partial) it can be seen that the number of industries (X1) has a positive but not significant effect and the amount of production (X2) has a negative and insignificant effect while the area of land (X3) has a positive and significant impact on energy absorption. work (Y) in Pelalawan Regency.
