Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of application of accounting in the business of making paving blocks in the District of peace Marpoyan Pekanbaru with generally acceptable accounting princeples. The population in this study are all business owners making paving blobks in the District of peace Marpoyan Pekanbaru which amount 12 business. How sampling using census method. The results of this study stated that business owner in the District Paving blocks marpoyan Peace Pekanbaru City haveyrt to implement the basic principles of accounting that includesthe historical cost principle of full disclouse. Most efforts in the District Paving blocks Marpoyan Peace appliying the concept of using monetery unit in the recording of accounting. Paving blocks of business in the District of Peace Marpoyan Pekanbaru City has not implemented accounting corresponding whih principles generally acceptable accounting theory.
