Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of academic honesty Around 5%-10% of students are in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Intelligent, Empathic, Religious, Sincere, and Trust (CERIA) towards academic honesty of 2018/2019 students in the PAI Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Islamic University of Riau. The type of research that used is quantitative with a correlational approach. Subject in This research is a class of 2018/2019 students in the PAI Study Program. Population In this study, students from the 2018/2019 class in the PAI Study Program amounted to 262 people and 158 population were used as research samples. Data collection technique used are questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using normality test and simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results data processing and data analysis performed using SPSS 22, then the probability value of Sig. smaller than 0.05 which is equal to 0.000 then the hypothesis in this study is accepted. So there is an influence Smart, Empathetic, Religious, Sincere, and Trustworthy (CHEERY) towards honesty Academic class 2018/2019 students in PAI Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion Riau Islamic University. With a large level of influence is 0.356 or 35.6% which is in the range of 0.20 – 0.399 which means weak. It means there is the influence of Smart, Empathic, Religious, Sincere, and Trustworthy (CERIA) on Academic honesty of 2018/2019 students in the Faculty of Islamic Studies Study Program Islamic Religion Riau Islamic University with a weak level of relationship.
