Abstract

Human resources have very important roles in companies/institutions, because they can cause other resources to function and work effectively. To create the effective human resources, it demands the leader to find the best way to utilize the people in the company/institution environment so that the expected goals can be achieved. The problem formulation of this study is whether the leadership style and Islamic leardership principles have an influence on the employee performance at Religious Courts in Pekanbaru City. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of leadership style and Islamic leadership principles on the employee performance at Religious Courts in Pekanbaru City. The subject of this study is all employees at Religious Courts in Pekanbaru City. The object of this study is the Influence of Leadership Style and Islamic Leadership Principles on the employee Performance at Religious Courts in Pekanbaru City. The data sources of this study are primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique used in this study is total sampling. The sample of this study consist of 69 people. The data collection technique of this study is a quantitative method. The data analysis technique used in this study is the multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data processing on the leadership style, it is known that t-count (4.43) > t-table (1.997) and Sig (0.000) < (0.05). Based on the results of data processing on the Islamic Leadership Principles on the Employee Performance, it is known that t-count (6.808) > t-table (1.997) and Sig (0.000) < (0.05), it means that the Islamic Leadership Principles have an influence simultaneously on the employee performance, it can be seen from the F-count of 150.584 with a significance of 0.000, so that F-count (150.584) > F-table (0.74) and Sig (0.000) < (0.05). The result of R2 value is 0.820, so it can be concluded that the magnitude of influence of Leadership Style and Islamic Leadership Principles on the employee Performance at Religious Courts in Pekanbaru City is 82%.
