Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the education level of the owner, the scale of the business, the accounting training attended, the age of the business on the use of accounting information in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Tembilahan City. This research was conducted at cafes and restaurants with a population of business owners. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple regression analysis. This research uses quantitative methods. Based on the results of tests conducted in this study it was found that the variables of owner's education, business scale and business age significantly influence the use of accounting information, while accounting training has no significant effect on the use of accounting information in cafes and restaurants in Koa Tembilahan.
