Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether intellectual capital and capital structure affect the firm value of Islamic commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research was conducted on Islamic commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016 – 2019. With a total sample of 3 Islamic commercial banks using quarterly data. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. The results obtained from data analysis, it can be concluded that partially intellectual capital does not have a significant effect on firm value, this is because if the company provides additional knowledge for its employees, the company must spend a number of funds that make the company's expenses increase, while the capital structure has a significant negative effect on the value of the company, this is because if the company has debt that exceeds the limit and the company's income is unstable, it will reduce the value of the company. Meanwhile, intellectual capital and capital structure simultaneously affect the firm value of Islamic commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016 – 2019.
