Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of business risk, company size, and sales growth on the capital structure of the automotive sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research is expected to contribute to the development of financial management science, and as input for company leadership in making decisions related to business risk, company size, and sales growth. The population in this study is the financial statements of automotive companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. This study uses data analysis, namely panel data regression analysis which is used to test the hypothesis model statistically, as well as the extent to which the proposed modal is consistent with the sample data. The results of this study indicate that business risk has a positive and significant effect on the capital structure of the automotive sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Company size and sales growth have a negative and insignificant effect on the capital structure of the automotive sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
