Abstract
This study aims to find out how the work motivation of employees at PT. Pekanbaru Silver Silk Tour & Travel, to find out what factors influence employee motivation and to determine the magnitude of the influence of work motivation on employees of PT. Pekanbaru Silver Silk Tour & Travel. The formulation of the problem in this study is "how the work motivation of employees at PT. Pekanbaru Silver Silk Tour & Travel seen from intrinsic factors and extrinsic factors ". This research uses descriptive method, the respondents used are as many as 31 employees. While the data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, interviews, and observations. By using a likert gauge as a measuring instrument to determine the short length of intervals that can be used to produce quantitative data. Based on the results of the study, the employee motivation has been considered using Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory. According to respondents, the motivation of employees working at PT. Pekanbaru Silver Silk Tour & Travel is included in the high category
