Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect premiums, claims, underwriting result, investment and profitability to the growth of assets in insurance companies syariah education di Indonesia 2013-2017 period. A population of 9 companies and in this study the sample was selected using a non-probability sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling with 9 companies. The data used in this study is secondary data and the analysis tool used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with assets growth as the dependent variable ang five independent variables namely premium variables, claims, underwriting result, investment and profitability. The result of this study state that : 1). Premiums do not have a significant effect on asset growth 2). Claims do not have a significant effect on asset growth 3). Underwriting result significant effect on asset growth 4). Investment don’t not have a significant effect on asset growth 5). Profitability significant effect on asset growth 6). Premiums, claims, underwriting result, investment, and profitability together significant effect on asset 7). The percentage of influence premiums, claims, underwriting result, investment and profitability on asset growth is 27,4%
