Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline on the performance of employees in the food and baverage manager section at the SibayakBerastagi Hotel. The population in this study were all employees totaling 138 people. The sample in this study amounted to 45 people in the food and baverage manager section who were taken using saturated sampling techniques or census. The method used in this research is descriptive method to discuss the identification of problems how to discipline, how the performance and how the influence of discipline on the performance of the food and baverage manager at SibayakBerastagi Hotel. The hypothesis of this study is that there is influence from work discipline on the performance of food and baverage manager employees. Data collection is done by communication not directly through a questionnaire (questionnaire). Based on the results of the research, Employee Discipline is in the excellent category (86%). Employee Performance is in the good category (74.8%). The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between Work Discipline on Employee Performance at SibayakBerastagi Hotel, which amounted to 34.3%, then the hypothesis accepted was Ha.
