Abstract
This research was conducted to determine whether there was an effect of Domestic Investment (PMDN) and Foreign Investment (PMA) Investment on Unemployment Rate in Indonesia. The data used are time series data from 2007- 2016 with the Multiple Linear regression analysis method, where the dependent value is the Unemployment Rate, and the independent variables are Domestic Investment (PMDN) and Foreign Investment (PMA). This data is then estimated using a tool for eviews 9. The results of the analysis show that Domestic Investment (PMDN) and Foreign Investment (PMA) simultaneously has a negative and significant effect on the unemployment rate. Obtained the value of the determination coefficient R2 0.927319 with a significant 5% (α 0.05) which means that the variables - varaibel affect the Unemployment Rate as much as 92,73% while 7,27% again influenced by other factors.
