Abstract

This research was conducted in Rengat City. The purpose of this study is to find out how much the income of informal workers in Rengat City and how the welfare of informal workers in the city of Rengat is a case study of street vendors. This study uses primary data obtained directly from the respondents of the study, which was carried out using a questionnaire instrument. and secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, Disperindag. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the income and welfare of street vendors in Rengat City has an average income of street vendors of Rp. 7,618,605 with the lowest revenue of street vendors of Rp. 2,800,000 and the highest income for street vendors is Rp. 14,000,000.dari hasil analisis kesejahteraan, di peroleh berdasarkan with the lowest revenue of street vendors of Rp. 2,800,000 and the highest income for street vendors is Rp. 14,000,000. Decent Life (KHL) can be seen that street vendors with average monthly income higher or equal to Decent Life (KHL) are as many as 41 people or 95.35% while street vendors with an average monthly income of less than or below Decent Life (KHL) are as many as 2 people or 4.65%.while street vendors with an average monthly income of less than or below Decent Life Life (KHL) are as many as 2 people or 4.65%. and based on the criteria of Bappenas, it is shown that the average family expenditure of street vendors for monthly non-staple needs is greater than the average family expenditure of street vendors for monthly basic needs. hus according to Bappenas criteria, it can be concluded that the family of street vendors can be categorized as prosperous. based on BPS criteria shows that generally street vendors with a moderate level of family welfare.
