Abstract
This research was conducted at the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of Riau Province. The purpose of this study is to determine the financial performance of the Riau Province Energy and Mineral Resources Office in 2017 to 2019 using the Value for money method. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The types of data used in this study are Primary Data and Secondary Data. Primary Data is data obtained by conducting interviews with the Head of the Finance Department regarding the Performance Accountability Report of Government Agencies (LAKIP). Secondary data is data obtained from literature related to research. The results of research conducted at the Energy and Mineral Resources Office of Riau Province show that the financial performance of the Riau Province Energy and Mineral Resources Office in the 2017-2019 Economic Ratio is good, but the results of the Efficiency Ratio and Effectiveness Ratio cannot be said to be performance. efficient and ineffective.
