Abstract

UEK-SP Suma Mandiri Village Sumailang Village Pekanbaru District Pekanbaru City City, in this case plays a role in helping the problems faced by small and medium enterprises through lending or assisting capital in the small and medium business sector. In addition to helping the community's economic business to be more advanced and independent in achieving a prosperous life, the UEK-SP also has a function to empower the economy of the poor so that they can get out of the poverty environment. The problematic credit faced by the UEK-SP is one of the consequences of internal control. UEK-SP has not provided maximum credit. The importance of internal control within an organization, so that the operations and systems implemented can run well so as to prevent misuse of the system. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Internal Control System for Credit Provision in the Economic Business of Suma Mandiri Savings and Loans Village (UEK-SP) Suma Mandiri Village, Sumailang Village, Pekanbaru District, Pekanbaru City. The data collection technique used in this research is by using interview and documentation methods. In analyzing the data the author uses a descriptive method, namely analyzing the facts encountered in the field, then connecting with the theories that the author has obtained, so that a conclusion can be drawn which is a solution to the problem at hand. Based on the results of research that has been carried out at UEK-SP Suma Mandiri, it can be concluded that the internal control system for lending at UEK-SP Suma Mandiri has not been running effectively.
