Abstract
The research was conducted at the Indonesian Civil Servants Cooperative for Teachers in Kampar Kiri District (KPRI GKKK) with the aim of knowing whether the accounting applied was in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The data used to support primary data research and secondary data with data collection techniques used are documentation and interviews. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that the Civil Servants Cooperative of the Republic of Indonesia Teachers of Kampar Kiri District (KPRI GKKK) keeps a cash diary and makes financial reports which only consist of a balance sheet, calculation of the remaining operating results and an explanation of the balance sheet including not making journals, ledgers, trial balances. , adjusting journals, closing journals and financial statements consisting of cash flow statements and statements of changes in equity. Based on the results of data analysis, it is found that the accounting application in this cooperative has not fully referred to generally accepted accounting principles.
