Abstract
This study aims to determine how the implementation of accounting conducted by the Sun Jaya multi-business cooperative in Air Joman district, Asahan regency, north Sumatera. This research is qualitative research. In this study use primary data. Data collection techniques from this study were interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that in compiling financial statements, Sun Jaya multi-Business cooperative in Air Joman district, Asahan regency, Nort Sumatera has not been fully complied with the Generally Accounting Principle, because : 1) the accounting cycle is not fully implemented by the cooperatives, 2) incomplete financial statements, 3)the presentation format on the balance sheet is not appropriate 4) the presentation of fixed asset measurement is not appropriate.
