Abstract

At this time, tourism is an asset in each region as well as a medium for advancing the area where tourism is located. Lake Kualomudo which is located in Balai Makam Subdistrict, Mandau Subdistrict, Bengkalis Regency is one of the natural attractions in this area, in this case the condition of the lake is still not optimal in its management, lack of tourist facilities, lack of inadequate accessibility and so on. This study aims to identify the potential of Lake Kualomudo in the aspects of tourism, namely, attractions, accessibility and facilities (amenities). The research approach of Lake Kualomudo tourism potential in Balai Makam sub-district of Mandau sub-district uses a deductive method with quantitative descriptive analysis with scoring analysis. The qualitative method is used to describe the condition of the lake, then the quantitative method is used to identify aspects of attraction, accessibility, and facilities (amenities). The results showed that the potential in the aspect of attraction / attraction with various indicators namely the beauty of the lake has a score of 81.8%, trees / plants have a score of 81.2%, attractions (outbound, bicycle / water duck and others) have a score of 78.9 % so that it can be an average score on the aspect of attraction that is 80.6%. Then the potential in the aspect of accessibility with various indicators namely the tourist entrance gate has a score of 57.7%, road conditions have a score of 58%, the location has a score of 78.7%, transportation has a score of 56.8%, the telecommunications network has a score of 79.3% , so the average score on the accessibility aspect is 66.1%. After that, the potential for aspects of amenities (facilities) with various indicators, namely parking has a score of 82.4%, toilets have a score of 48.8%, security score of 80%, places of worship score of 77.4%, places of rest (stage, cottage and others ) score 57.4%, food stalls score 58.1%, ticket counters score 76.5%, so that the average score on the aspect of amenities (facilities) can be 68.6%. Based on the results of research on the three highest aspects, namely the aspect of attraction / attractiveness, followed by the aspect of accessibility, and aspects of facilities (amenities). Lake Kualomudo's potential is based on three aspects, namely attraction, accessibility, facilities need to be improved and considered by related parties in order to optimize development in the future.
