Abstract

This study aims to find out how the song form amor de mi alma by Z. Randall Stroope on the CANTABILE Pekanbaru voice guide. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, namely research conducted by approaching the object under study. Then the data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. Observation carried out is Participatory observation because the researcher is involved with the daily activities of the person being studied or the people who are being observed as research data sources. The interview used is an unstructured interview, because the interview runs like a normal conversation. The documentation used is in the form of photographs and video recordings. The research results obtained can be seen from the analysis of the form of Amor De Mi Alma's songs by using the form theory of music (melody, harmony, rhythm and dynamics) Phrase and sentence motives. The program is a three-part song form. This song has the phrase Symmetrical pharses with extension, meaning the phrase has an even number with the tempo of Largo.
