Abstract
This study aims to determine how the analysis of Kompang Gelek Karya Karya Iwan Irawan Permadi at Sanggar Laksemana Pekanbaru, Riau Province. with the method used is Descriptive Analysis with Qualitative Non-Interactive data, the theory used is the theory of Tebok Soetedjo (1983 - 1- 62) about elements or elements of dance, namely: motion, music, dynamics, floor design, themes, property, makeup, and fashion, lighting or lighting. and the theory of supporters of Sal Murgiyanto (2004: 108) about performances and audiences. with data collection techniques, namely by Non-Observation Participants, structured interviews, and documentation, Kompang Gelek Dance by Iwan Irawan Permadi is a dance based on Arabic zapin and zapin movements, the choreographer wants to make a new work different from the usual zapin dance, where this dance is zapin dance with a fast tempo, the results of the study show that there are 5 types of core movements which are then developed, using musical instruments commonly used in zapin dance and there are vocals, the dynamics of this dance namely level, motion volume, musical tempo, tempo of motion , direction to face, change of motion, the theme of this dance is entertainment, excitement, people's party, the results of the study there are 19 floor patterns found in this dance, namely straight, circular, diagonal, zigzag, makeup used, which is beautiful make-up and natural make-up, the costumes used are pink clothes and pants and yellow flower skirt, the lighting used is lighting net ral, the stage used is closed prosenium and there is no age limit for the audience.
