Abstract

This study aims to describe the Development of Dance Extracurricular (Zapin Dance Broken 12) in SMA N 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. The research method used is descriptive analysis method using qualitative methods, namely research carried out by approaching the object being examined to obtain accurate data. Data collection is done using Observation Techniques, Interviews, and Documentation. The research subjects were 9 people, 8 students and 1 Extracurricular coach. The research site was conducted at SMA N 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. Data analysis techniques used in the research are data reduction, display or presentation of data, conclusions. The theory used in this study is Masdar Helmi (1993: 22). From the results of the above research, the authors conclude in the Guidance of Extracurricular Dance (Zapin Dance Broken 12) in SMA N 1 Pangkalan Kerinci there are several indicators including the existence of planning in planning there is formulation of objectives, the selection of programs that will be taught to students is zapin dance breaks out 12 and the last is the identification and deployment of resources including human resources, namely the headmaster, coaches and students, while non-humans are supporting facilities and infrastructure such as laptops, speakers, halls. After the planning then organizing or implementing. The method used in the implementation is the lecture and demonstration method. After that the next step is controlling. Monitoring and evaluation. Supervision carried out by coaches is done by looking at the material and understanding of the student, evaluation or assessment is expressed qualitatively with a score of 86- 100 (Very Good), 85-76 (Good), 66-76 (Enough ), and a score of 56-65 D (Less).
