Abstract

This study aims to analysis of students motivation of science learning students of class VIII SMPN1 Kampar Kiri. The type of this research is. The population in this research, is all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Kampar Kiri which amounted to 110 students. The sample in this research, is all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Kampar Kiri which amounted to 110 students. Collection data by observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. Data analysis technique using analysis descriptive. From result of research obtained that internal motivation is 78,29% with high category and learning eksternal motivation is 73,49% with medium category. This shows that there is a motivation science learning of students of grade VIII SMPN 1 Districk Kampar Kiri academic year 2018/2019 with medium category is 75,89%.
