Abstract

Research on Cultural Values ​​in Tenas Counsel of Tenas Effendy is research related to cultural values. Discussion the problem in this research is how cultural values ​​are contained in Pantun N Advice by Tenas Effendy. The aim of this study to find out the cultural values ​​contained in the book Pantun N advice by Tenas Effendy. The theory used in this research is theory Koentjoroningrat (2009) as well as opinions relevant to this research problem. This research method uses descriptive method, this type of research using library research, the approach used is the approach qualitative. This research data collection technique uses reading techniques, take notes, and conclude. The data collected in this study were 45 Tenun Effendy's Pantun Advice with 20 elements of language, there are 5 rhymes having phonological aspects, 5 rhymes have aspects morphology, 5 pantun have semantic aspects, and 5 pantun have semantic aspects. Elements of the knowledge system amounted to 11 pantun, there are 4 pieces rhymes have elements of the knowledge system related to the human body, and 7 rhymes relating to the qualities and behavior of others human. There are 7 elements of social organization relating to social relations between relatives. There are 7 religious elements in the religious system relating to the people who perform and lead the ceremony
