Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the implementation of duties carried out by Village Community Empowerment Institutions in the New Village Village based on Kuantan Singingi District regulation No 6 of 2009 concerning the establishment of village community empowerment institution. In this study uses solen das sein das theory Proposed by Taliziduhu Ndraha. Where will be seen how the comparison between the duties of the new village village community empowerment agency based on article 8 paragraph 1 of Kuantan Singingi District regulation No 6 of 2009, where the duties of empowering new village village communities is to develop participation of development plan, mobilize self-help community gotong royong implementation and control development. While the objectives of the researchers in this study were: to find out the implementation of the duties of empowering rural communities in the village of the new village of Cerenti Kuantan Singingi. The type of research used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative with the population of village heads, LPM administrators, RW heads, RT heads, hamlet heads and communities (KK) wih 42 responden who are determined by census and purposive techniques. The type of data used is primary data collected through quistionnaires, interviews, observations while secondary data collected through regulations, reportdocumentation and other data obtained are the analized descriptively. Based on the results of the analysis it was concluded that the implementation of the duties of the village community empowerment agency in the village of the new village Cerenti district Kuantan Singingi district was categorized as “Pretty Good”. It is expected that the LPM management will coordinate and collaborate with the village government and community organizations.
