Abstract
Siak Regency is an area that has a fairly flat land surface with a small slope/soil surface so that the movement of water by gravity is also almost nonexistent. Harvesting of rainwater with Long Storage is one way that can be done to provide irrigation water reserves in the Laksamana Village. This study aim to provide a Long Storage dimension recommendation by that irrigation water need in Laksamana Village can be fully fulfilled. In the analysis of irrigation water need Laksamana Village (Ir) is needed to calculate several factors that affect irrigation water needs, consumption of consumer (Etc), effective rainfall (Re), Percolation (P), and water requirements in tillage (S). The frequency of rainfall analyzed by using the Gumbel distribution. The dimension of the Long Storage cross section are calculated by using a continuity equation, and the length of the Long Storage is calculated after knowing the irrigation water requirements and the Long Storage cross-sectional dimension. From the results of the analysis of the amount of irrigation water requirements in Laksamana Village obtained 4.96 mm/day or equal to 128,031.34 m3 / month, while the Long Storage cross section dimensions obtained from the calculation are the base width (b) 12.5 m, width above ( B) 20.5 m, height (h) 4 m. Thus obtained the length of Long Storage (L) 1,650 m with a storage volume of 108,700 m3 and a mainstay Q of 104,969.79 m3.
