Abstract
The village is an area that is inhabited by a number of people who know each other, live and work together, have customs, which are relatively similar, and have their own ordinances in regulating the life of society and regulated by Law No. 6 of 2014 About the village. Village Government consists of the Head of the Village and the Village as part of administrators of the village. The village administration is the whole process of recording of data and information on the administration of the village on books village administration and set in Pemendagri 32, 2006. The research was conducted in three villages in the district Senayang Lingga regency,including the village of Tanjung Lipat,Duyung Island Village and Village Tajur Biru, Datacollection techniques using observation, interviews, and documents. In this study of village government performance measurement using Sedarmayanti theory (2012: 18) with five indicators of quality of work, timeliness, initiative, capability, and communication. The results of this study can be seen that the performance of the government in the village of charging book village administration have not been implemented due to several factors inhibiting namely, quality of work, initiative, and the capability of village officials. Quality of work consisting of work and employment benefits of village officials in completing the work. Initiative for the provision of the idea / ideas in the work also has not been done in the work and capabilities in the skills of personnel to complete the work within the required skills of their education as acontributing factor.
