Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon found in conducting field prasurvey. Where does not look optimal training schedule for people with disabilities. The purpose of this study is to find out how the results of the Implementation Program Activity Section Rehabilitation and Empowerment of People with Disabilities in Social Service and Funeral Pekanbaru City. The researcher focused on the Section for Rehabilitation and Empowerment of People with Disabilities. Evaluation indicators used include effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, leveling, responsiveness, and accuracy. Population and sample in this research are Head of Pekanbaru City Social Service, Head of Rehabilitation Section, Head of Rehabilitation and Empowerment Section of disabled people, and disabled persons who were trained. The type of this research is quantitative type using descriptive survey method. The measurement scale in this study is good, good enough, less good. Based on the results of questionnaires and interviews with respondents regarding the implementation of Section Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Disabled Persons Program in Social Service and Funeral of Pekanbaru City can be quite good with the result of respondent recapitulation is 6 person or 42,85%. The inhibiting factors for the Evaluation of Section Activity Program of Rehabilitation and Empowerment of People with Disabilities in the Social Service and Funeral of Pekanbaru City is the number of Training for Disabled from Social Service and the funeral of Pekanbaru City is still lacking because in one year there are only three times the training and the number of trainees was Limited, still less sensitive his Social Service and Cemetery Pekanbaru Town in the record of the disabled people in Pekanbaru City so that the data of people with disability is less than the maximum, in the training process held Social Service and Funeral of Pekanbaru city is considered good enough just kind of training sometimes not According to the limitations of participants. This means that the government policy on the Implementation of Section Rehabilitation and Disabled Persons Empowerment program is quite good.
