Abstract

Research Thesis is made to determine and describe the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 of 2008 on Public Information in the Office of the Mayor of Pekanbaru, type of research is descriptive research with the aim to describe and analyze the implementation of public disclosure conducted by the City of Pekanbaru in this case is the Public Relations Section, Bappeda, BPKAD and Community Representative Fitra Riau and to determine what factors that can hinder and support during the implementation process takes place. This study uses descriptive qualitative research .Teknik data analysis used in this study is qualitative data with interactive models in the form of words - words in (Silaen and Widiyanto, 2013). The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Act No. 14 of 2008 on Public Information in Pekanbaru Mayor's Office has now done, however, on the Rights and Obligations of Public Bodies and the rights and obligations of the Applicant and Public Information Users must be adapted to the existing provisions in Law in this study is in the mayor's Office of Pekanbaru. Then on Public Information, so that the implementation of this Act may be run in accordance with the purpose of the birth of Law Public Disclosure in Indonesia, particularly the supporting factors and obstacles regarding information services hampered because the mechanism to obtain information to be used today still raw due to his less familiar with Law No. 14 Year 2008 regarding public disclosure.
