Abstract

The exercise of the body is the process of being the first step to combine the process of motion exploration that has been done before. If the body is to train physical endurance, bone and breath. A studio is a place or means used by a communication or group of people to engage in activities in various fields of activity. This research is background on to support dance movement at melange Dang Merdu which is town of Pekanbaru Province Riau need to do body exercises regulary and correctly before dance training take place, so the body can be prepared optimally to perform the dance activity. The purpose of this study is to understandand explain yhe application of body work in the Dang Merdu Pekanbaru Riau Province, and to know the impact that occurs after the dance members Dang Merdu exercise. In the study the type of research that the authors use using qualitative descriptive method. The source of data taken is based on the results of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data display, and conclusion.
