Abstract

Homosexuals in fact is a form of sexual abnormality and is often considered to be violating the norms and social norms in force in the community. In Indonesia most of the people could not accept the existence of a people who had deviant sexual behavior or orientation as homosexual. In the past this group chose the attitude of closing his sexual life and reluctantly revealed. in line with the times, homosexuals are more aggressive and expressive in performing samesex relationships. These irregularities also took place in the city of Pekanbaru, the existence of gays in Pekanbaru itself increasingly today increasingly plain to see. As for the question in this study is what is Behind Without a man to choose to become a Gay? In this study the author using qualitative research, a research procedure that generates the data with the results of the descriptive form of the written word of the people and the behavior observed, by conducting in-depth interview against the informant and key informant.. That became the key informant and the informant in this research is the ARD (the perpetrators), clinical psychologist and Scholar. Through interviews with key informants do investigators and informants that the gay world in the city of Pekanbaru increasingly growing day and increase the number of followers. The more exists with the support of other facilities such as social media and networking forum gathered the art galleries such as dance, music, Visual Arts and also places the gym/fitness that is in the city of Pekanbaru, factors which aspects influenced a man choose the path as a same-sex lovers can't be like other, meaning depends on how the lives of the men on these same-sex lovers undergo the process of his life before becoming a same-sex lovers.
