Abstract
This study aims to determine learning outcomes IPA biology students grade X MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Sentajo Raya Academic Year 2017/2018 through the implementation of guided inkuiry learning. Data this research isa Classroom Action Research (CAR). Were collected on April - Mey 2018. The subjets were students grade X MIPA 1 consist of 23 students of 10 male and 13 female students. The data were analyzed based on descriptive. The absortion average student learning outcomes before CAR was 71.56, after CAR in the first cycle of 78.84% and 85.30% for the second cycle. Classical completeness of students before the implementing CAR is 43.47%, after CAR in the first cycle of to 78.26% and 91.30% for the second cycle. The average value of KI students before CAR is 74.82%, after CAR in the first cycle of 82.07% and 90.99% for the second cycle. Classical completeness KI before PTK of in the amout of 69.56% after CAR in the first cycle to 95.65% and the second cycle of 100%. The conclusion of this study that with the implementation of guided inkuiry learning can improve students learning Biology on class X MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Sentajo Raya Academic Year 2017/2018.
