Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning biology make a match type with pictures media students’ grade VII10 SMPN 6 Pekanbaru in Academic Year 2015/2016, which consist to 34 students with 14 male and 20 female students. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was held on 7 March 07- until April 14, 2016. Parameters measured were student learning outcomes in the form of absorption and mastery learning students. The results of the descriptive analysis of student learning outcomes conducted by two cycles consisting of eight meetings, the PPK students before gained CAR 79,3% after the first cycle CAR 84,4% after the second cycle CAR 86,41%. Students mastery before CAR 70,58% an increased to 76,47% after the first cycle of CAR and the second cycle an increased to 94,12%. The KI students CAR 80,91% after the first cycle CAR 83,73 and the second cycle CAR 87,86%. Students mastery before CAR 65,17 an increased to 76,47% after the first cycle of CAR and the second cycle an increased to 100,00%. Based of the analysis data result the conclusion of the implementation cooperatif learning type make a match with pictures media can increased learning outcames the students class VII10 SMPN 6 Pekanbaru academic year 2015/2016.
