Abstract
This study aims to determine student’s perceptions of the implementation of science leaning of 8 th class at junior hight school 10 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2017/2018. This study is a descriptive research. The method in this study is using surving method. To collect the data the researcher uses questioner, observation and interview.the sample in this study were 88 people, taken from the students of 8 th class at Junior Hight School 10 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2017/2018. Questionnaire distributed consists of 27 items of questions. Based on the results of the research can be seen tha: the Indicators apply various approaches, strategies, methods, and learning techniques that are creative education in the subjects that can be categorized very well by the percentage of 82,66%, the indicators of teaching and learning in the classroom, in the laboratory, and in the field wiht regard to the required safety standards can be categorized either by percentage 78,40%, reflecting the learning indicators that have been implemented can be categorized either with percentage 80,41%, indicator utilizing information and communication technology in learning can be categorized good with percentage 74,24%, the indicators of learning materials that are creatively handled in accordance with the level of learners can be categorized either by 79,01% percentage, the indicators follow the progress of the times by learning various sources can be categorized either by the persentage of 78,40%. It can be concluded that the average result of students responses of 78,85% with good category.
