Abstract

Spiritual intelligence is very important for students to be humanistic, maintain good relations with the environment, and realize the students' sense of care so that the realization of prosocial behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship of spiritual intelligence with prosocial behavior in students. The method of collecting data uses a scale of spiritual intelligence research with a total of 44 items and a prosocial behavior scale with a total of 52 items distributed to 90 Riau Islamic University Psychology students who are still active. The sampling technique used is rhandom shampling. The data analysis method used is the Moment Pearson Product Correlation. Based on the analysis test results obtained that there is a positive relationship between spritual intelligence and prosocial behavior in students with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.235 (*) and a significance value (p) of 0.026 (p <0.05). This shows that the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the higher the spiritual intelligence, the higher the prosocial behavior. Conversely, the lower the spiritual intelligence, the lower the prosocial behavior.
