Abstract

This study discusses the Factors Cause the occurrence of Suicide (a case study of Indragiri Hilir Regency Kateman Sub-district). The problem in this research is what factors that cause concerned or Mr. X performs the Act of suicide. The purpose of this study is to analyze and explain the factors that cause anything concerned or Mr. X performs the Act of suicide in Indragiri Hilir Regency Kateman. In an attempt to find out the cause of the occurrence factors of suicide, the method used is the approach to qualitative research which by way of a surve directly to the location of the research. The type of research used by the author is research deskriftif i.e. describing the actual circumstances of what there is at the time of research by means of collecting data and analyzing the data. Based on the results of the study, the authors get an answer from the existing problems, that the factors that caused the concerned or Mr. X performs the Act of suicide is the economic factor and lack of understanding of the science of religion. To overcome these problems then the author suggests, need to attempt to resolve the problem of suicide in Indragiri Hilir Regency, especially in the area of Kateman. In addition need to be religious leaders must play a role by giving an explanation of religion and where the sinner and not to Sin so that the person is back to the right path recommended in a religion.
