Abstract

The pourpose if this research is to know th obligations of village head in maintaining tranquility and public order in sialang jaya village batang tuaka sub district of Indragiri hilir. Indicator of research of tranquility and public order used is the obligations of village head, maintaining tranquility, every RT has a patrol post, in activating patrolling of deliberations, and the existence of violations are given sanction. Type of reasearh is located in the village of sialang jaya batang tuaka district of Indragiri hilir qualitative descriptive survey, namely describe and summarize the various conditions and variables that exist in the object of this study, therefore the outhour tries the describe, summarize the varios conditions and situations arising on the object that can be obtained clear conclusions about the research. Type and techniques of data collection consist of primary data concluded by interview technique and secondary data collected by observation technique . bassed inthis analitycal technique the research assessed and concluded that the obligations of the village head mainainting peace and public order in the village siallang jaya batang tuaka district Indragiri hilir district was at a fairly good interval. Recommendations developed especially with the community and invite the community to father in crease the nightly night in each RT in order to create more tranquility and order.
