Abstract

The role of customary village institutions in the effort to realize the spirit of village building becomes very important, considering that in the village development requires awareness and self-reliance that they have. All development activities are carried out by the community both in terms of financing and implementation by using their own capabilities in accordance with the limits of their capabilities without the need for assistance from outside parties. Thus the purpose of the research to be achieved is to determine the role of Social Service, Community Empowerment and Village Kuantan Singingi District In Indigenous Institutional Empowerment in Subdistrict Logas Land Land. This type of research is a descriptive survey with the location of research on Social Service, Community Empowerment And Village Kuantan Singingi Regency and in Logas Tanah Darat Subdistrict. Types and sources of data used primary data and secondary data, while data collection through observation, interviews, and research documentation. After the data obtained then grouped according to qualitative qualitative data, then analyzed in the form of description clearly and briefly. The role of Social Service, Community Empowerment and Village of Kuantan Singingi Regency in custom institutional empowerment, especially in Logas Tanah Darat Subdistrict so far only limited to do empowerment and coaching in order to maintain the preservation of customs values. From the empowerment indicators established, the development, potential, capability, protection, support and maintenance of customary institutions have not been fully able to strengthen existing customary institutions. Efforts are only limited to providing assistance in the form of construction of a particular house or hall, the arrangement of all existing customary institutions and encouragement morally to the adat stakeholders.
