Abstract

The management of Lake Betung tourism object aims to find out how the results of the role of the cultural, tourism, youth and sports services in managing tourism objects (studies on the object of the lake betung sub-district base kuralawan district). contained in article 43 of regional tourism management and article 44 has a tourism management function. However in managing this tourism object researchers use quantitative methods as well as the study population of the head of service, head of tourism, tourism development section, and tourist attraction, determined by techniques purvosive sampling and incidental sampling, the type of data collection that is used is primary and secondary data, techniques in collecting data using questionnaires / questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and observation, then the data is analyzed descriptively. And also in the management of tourist objects the author uses role theory according to the girot in Rauf with indicators of planning, organizing, directing, controlling, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, based on the results of analysis, Pelalawan district's role in culture, tourism, youth and sports management of tourism objects (Study on the object of the lake lakes subdistrict base pelalawan district drainage) in the value quite role. therefore the authors expect the tourism culture services pelalalawan district in order to be better in improving the management of the lake object betung and other tourism in Pelalawan district.
