Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the tasks of the Transportation Office of Dumai City in giving permission to transport people in urban routes in areas in the City of Dumai . The population in this study is the Head of Service, the Head of Transportation, and the Head of Transportation in Route, the owner of public transportation and the community. In this study the authors set a sample of 2 8 people with purposive sampling technique. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of the tasks of the Transportation Office of Dumai City in providing permits for transporting people in urban routes in the area of Dumai City from sub effectiveness is included in the measurement category. good enough, efficiency is included in the measurement category good enough , sufficiency is included in the measurement category good enough, leveling is included in the measurement category good enough, responsiveness is included in the measurement category good enough, accuracy is included in the measurement category pretty good. So from the results of this study can be concluded that the implementation of the tasks of the Transportation Office of Dumai City in giving permission to transport people in urban routes in the region is quite good, this conclusion is in accordance with the measurement techniques that have been determined that said good enough category is at the percentage of 34% - 66 %, meaning that of the six indicators that have not been used properly.
