Abstract

This study aims to determine the Implementation of the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM) Task in Nagari Muaro Paiti. The basis of this study is the Regulations of the Fifty Cities Regent Number 52 of 2017 concerning General Guidelines for Community Empowerment Institutions (LPM) in Lima Puluh Kota District. To find out more clearly, the researcher uses 5 research indicators, namely Developing participatory development plans, Mobilizing community self- help, implementing and controlling development in an integrated manner both from the government and community self-help and other activities, Empowering the potential of the community through the development of economic capacity , community health, education and social culture, Maintaining and developing the values of Religion, custom and culture. The type of research used is Descriptive Survey with Quantitative research where the writer will describe the actual situation of what happened at the research location by collecting, identifying, and developing the facts that exist to express the complete objective conditions about the object under study. The sampling technique in this study was for the Chairperson of LPM, LPM Section Section, Wali Nagari used a saturated sampling technique that all members of the population were used as samples, while purposive sampling techniques were used for the community with a sample of 58 people. The data in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data, primary data collected by questionnaire list techniques and interviews and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is to use a frequency table tool. Based on the analysis technique, the researcher assessed and concluded that the Implementation of the Task Force for Community Empowerment Institutions in Nagari Muaro Paiti, Kapur IX Subdistrict, Lima Puluh Kota District, was in the assessment interval. Where the LPM as a working partner of the Nagari Government has helped accommodate and realize the aspirations of the community in the field of development, but there are still obstacles such as the lack of funds provided by the Nagari Government to the LPM and the lack of Nagari Government in utilizing LPM as a working partner. The advice that can be given is that the Nagari Government should utilize the LPM as a work partner by involving LPM in the development activities carried out. It is recommended that the Nagari Government provide motivation in the form of financial / sufficient funds to the LPM.
