Abstract
This research was carried out at the Lopek Bugi in Palung Raya sub district Tambang districts Kampar, making Lopek Bugi a company engaged in industry, which aims to realize typical Kampar food works, one of which is the processing of Lopek Bugi. Processing of Lopek Bugi has carried out Product Innovation Analysis. Product Activation which consists of 3 indicators namely Product Variant, Product Design, and Product Quality. Conducting Product Innovation Analysis aims to renew the product so that the product can compete with the same type of product and can maintain the quality it has. The research objective was to analyze Lopek Bugi Product Innovation to increase the number of customers and taste quality through the products produced. In this study the author uses types and sources of data namely premier data and secondary data. Premiere data is data obtained directly from the object of research which includes data on population numbers, questionnaire data, interview data and other data deemed necessary. Secondary data is data obtained directly from the company where the research is the processing industry of Lopek Bugi which has the nature of supporting the analysis in this study such as a general description of the company, as well as the number of sales. And using 2 sampling techniques, namely the census technique for sampling at 2 employees and using accidental sampling for sampling at 30 consumers. The results of the 3 indicators are Good enough, all of which indicate that Lopek Bugi Processing must continue to strive to improve product innovation in the future.
