Abstract

In the process of oil and gas production there is work called well service. Well service is a part that is tasked with handling all activities related to wells. These activities include efforts to get the well ready for production (initial completion) and workovers such as swabbing. In this well Swabbing test work it is expected to obtain data relating to the production of such wells such as Initial Fluid Level (IFL), Working Fluid Level (WFL), Load, Productivity Index (PI), and Water Cut (WC). All data obtained will be used to determine the type and size of the pump to be entered into the well. Packer is a well-bottom device to separate one interval from another (testing or producing). In this study, an analysis of the work of swab tests was carried out day and night using a Mod G packer, also knowing the rate / day and knowing the size of the pump after carrying out a swab test on the y field well x. Swabbing Job that are carried out during the day are not much different when doing swabbing jobs at night, it's just that the SOP requirements applied by oil compeny are GOR 0.2 not allowed to do swabbing work at night, and equipment you need to do a swabbing job at night plus C-Tool and Lighting. From the swab test results obtained the amount of fluid flow rate (rate / day) that is equal to 777.6 bbl / d. From the swabbing job calculation results obtained the determination of the size of the ESP pump in well X using series 338 with a diameter of 3.38 inch type A.25 in.
