Abstract

Physical education is a learning process that aims to improve fitness levels, enrich motor skills, promote understanding of active living, and instill sportsmanship through various physical activities. Basketball is one type of sport that is in great demand, with fans of all ages, especially among students and college students. This application is shown for introduction to basic techniques of playing basketball, application introduction to basic techniques of playing basketball is made with markerless methods and ARCore SDK library. To create Augmented Reality applications are made using Unity 3D software while 3D object creation uses Blender software. Based on the test results, 3D objects can appear at a distance of 10 cm to 250 cm. Whereas at distances starting at 9 cm and more than 250 cm objects cannot appear, light intensity above 5 lux can appear and plain white objects, patterned and colored objects, uneven objects 3D animation can appear. Based on the results of user testing, a percentage of 80.4% was obtained with 25 respondents, so that this application can be implemented as a medium for introducing basic techniques for playing basketball
