Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the comparison of consumer perceptions regarding buying interest in Indomaret and Alfamart minimarkets in Pekanbaru City (Case study of Jalan Satria Branch, Tenayan Raya District). The population in this study was 50 Alfmart consumers and 50 Indomaret consumers. The sampling technique in this research uses purposive sampling, where samples are taken based on the researcher's objectives and considerations. Data collection techniques in this research used questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive analysis and the independent sample t-test. The results of this research explain that there are significant differences in consumer perceptions regarding buying interest in Indomaret and Alfamart minimarkets in Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City.
