Abstract

Heart disease is a group of conditions that affect the normal function of the heart. This condition can affect the heart's ability to pump blood effectively, cause blood circulation disorders, and has the potential to be a serious threat to health. To make it easier to detect early symptoms of heart disease, an expert system is needed that can diagnose heart disease. An expert system is a computer-based system that adopts knowledge from an expert and is designed to make decisions like those taken by an expert. The search method used in this system is the Case Based Reasoning method, while to find solutions to new cases the Nearest Neighbor method is used. This expert system was created on a web basis to make it easier for users to access it. This system is suitable to be implemented because it obtains the same diagnosis results as the diagnosis results carried out by experts and obtains a percentage of 86% obtained from the results of processing the questionnaire using a Likert scale.
