Abstract

The research aims to investigate and obtain empirical evidence regarding the influence of educational background, business scale, business experience, and accounting knowledge on the utilization of accounting information in Baby Shops located in the city of Pekanbaru. The sample of this study consists of Baby Shops in Pekanbaru. The sampling technique employed is population sampling, where the entire population serves as the sample for this research, resulting in a total of 59 samples. Data is collected by distributing questionnaires to the owners of Baby Shops in Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique utilized is multiple regression analysis.Based on the test results conducted in this study, it is concluded that the variable of accounting knowledge significantly influences the utilization of accounting information in Baby Shops located in Pekanbaru, while the variables of educational background, business scale, and business experience do not have a significant impact on the utilization of accounting information.
