Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of total production, price, and consumption on rice imports in Indonesia in 2010-2019. The data used in this research is secondary data. This method which is used in this thesis research is data analysis method. This reseacrh uses the Eviews 9 application in determining the hypothesis. The variables used in the study were rice production, rice price, and rice consumption. The type of data used is time series data between the years 2010-2019. And the data source comes from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). Based on the results of research on the analysis of the effect of total production, price, and consumption on rice imports in Indonesia 2010-2019, it can be concluded that rice production, rice prices, rice consumption in Indonesia have a significant effect on rice imports in Indonesia in 2010-2019, where rice production has a positive (+) and significant effect on rice imports in Indonesia, and where rice prices have a positive (+) and significant effect on rice imports in Indonesia, while rice consumption has a negative (-) and significant effect on rice imports in Indonesia.
