Abstract

ABSTRACK MAINTENANCE ANALYSIS OF OPERATING EQUIPMENT IN SIAK REGENCY HOSPITAL By : SITI NURUL AQMALINI 175210371 Medical equipment is very important for hospitals, proper maintenance of medical equipment can not only prevent damage to medical equipment but can also increase the life of the device so as to reduce expenses caused by repairing damage and buying new equipment. The operating room is one of the most sacred places in the hospital, so it is necessary to have teamwork from the operating room staff and electromedical officers to keep the equipment in the operating room so that they are always ready to be used in handling operations on patients. The purpose of this research is to look at the maintenance of operating equipment carried out by the Siak Hospital and whether the maintenance has been carried out effectively. The calculation method used is Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The results of the research conducted show that operating equipment maintenance management uses preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance methods and this has been running effectively. However, this did not produce a good value on the results of the measurement of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method with an Availability value of 97.34%, Performance of 31.28%. The quality is 100.00% and the OEE value is only 30.45%, this is still below the world class standard , which is 85%, performance results that are below the standard make the OEE value go down. This indicates the need for a lot of updates on tools and medical personnel to increase patient confidence in carrying out surgical services at Siak Hospital.
