Abstract

THE ROLE OF COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT INSTITUTIONS IN DEVELOPMENT IN THE NORTH TANGKERANG VILLAGE BUKIT RAYA DISTRICT PEKANBARU CITY ABSTRACT By Ikhsan Alfathur Keywords: Role, Community Empowerment Institutions, Development; This study aims to determine and analyze the Role of Community Empowerment Institutions in Development in the North Tangkerang Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The assessment indicators used include facilitators, mediators, motivators and dynamics. This type of research is a descriptive survey with quantitative analysis, namely prioritizing the questionnaire as a data collection tool. The population and sample in this study amounted to 28 people. The types and techniques of data collection consisted of primary data collected using questionnaires and interview techniques, as well as secondary data collected using observation and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques use frequency tables. Based on this analysis technique, the researcher assessed and concluded that the Role of Community Empowerment Institutions in Development in the North Tangkerang Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, was categorized as quite implemented. The inhibiting factor is that the development carried out in the Tangkerang Utara Village is still not in accordance with the plans agreed upon in the Musrenbang at the kelurahan level, development activities appear to be the result of unilateral planning or the authority of the government itself, that is, not based on the results of community aspirations. The role of the mediator has been carried out by LPM Tangkerang Utara Village but has not been fully maximized, so that the community's interest in participating in every development in North Tangkerang Village is still lacking.
