Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of competence and work discipline on teacher performance at SMPN 43 Pekanbaru. The sampling technique in this research was using the census method technique, taking the entire population as a sample of 36 teachers and leaders. The method used is descriptive analysis and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The research results showed that there was a significant positive influence of teacher competence on teacher performance, there was a positive influence of work discipline on teacher performance, there was a simultaneous positive and significant influence on teacher performance.
